About Laurie Rodriguez-Rocha

Laurie Anne Rodriguez-Rocha, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) professional organization. She was born in Manila, Philippines and spent her teenage years in Bonn, Germany. She received her education by earning her Bachelor and Master’s degree in Nursing from Walden University.

She began her healthcare career working in Rio Grande Regional Hospital as an EKG technician in the early 2000. She obtained her LVN license in 2005 at South Texas College and her associate degree in nursing in 2008. She has worked in various settings but predominantly focused on the Emergency Room setting. She has also enjoyed teaching and precepting nursing and nurse practitioner students. During her training in the Nurse Practitioner Program, she developed a desire to continue working at the ER, Urgent Care Clinics, and Wellness Clinics.

Ms. Rocha is certified and licensed to diagnose, prescribe, and treat patients of all ages with general health concerns. She also has experience with Plastic and Reconstructive Institute and Breast Center of Excellence with DHR Health.

In her time away from work, Ms. Rocha enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, 2 beautiful daughters, and her Liver Nose Shi Tzu named Benjie.
